What Our Readers Have to Say
As soon as I finished, I started thinking I wanted to read both books again. What did I miss? I want to miss anything.
I thought this book was awesome! I read it in two sittings because it kept my attention with its intrigue and insights; very well written in my opinion. I can't wait to read book 2!
Totally enjoyed this book! Written in such a way that the reader gets involved in the experiences and discussions. It has given me new perspectives of prayer, angels and demons to consider. Although a deep subject, the story line quickly drew me in. Can't wait for the second book!
Deep and inviting, loved it as much as a Perretti book
It definitely kept me locked within the pages as part of each thought, pain, doubt, hope and prayer of each character it portrays. I found The Prophet: Book 1, to be a well blended fusion of reality, spirituality, misconceptions and truths, that so clutter the lives and minds of people today.
The short chapters make this book so easy to read. The truth in it's pages so very encouraging. I cannot wait for the next book! The story of the twelve is no different than that of you or me. I love that it opens my eyes to look at things a little differently. Ted Dekker has been one of my favorite author for years, and now Dr. Ande Edwards has been added to my list of favorites as well! Thanks for a great read!
Very interesting. Gives you a lot to think about. Can't help but wonder if this is somewhat how it truly is.
This book follows angels sent by God to protect humans who have been called to battle demons in a small college town. It's a real page-turner!! I would strongly recommend it for anyone who likes books in the same genre as the Left Behind Series and "This Present Darkness."
It has brought me closer to God with a more visual idea of how the spiritual world might work.
If you like Frank Peretti, Ande Edwards is your next go-to author. This book was well written, thought-provoking, and riveting. I devoured it within a few days of it arriving. Dr. Edwards does a great job of using fiction to make you think about spiritual warfare - there are many parts of the book that I am still thinking over. Will be reading this again soon, can't wait for more books from this author!
It gives a sense of connection and realization of one's own battles.
Ande's attention to detail brought the book to life.
I so enjoyed The Prophet, read it in one sitting!
Read it. Liked it. I’ll read it again. And, I’ll like it more.
Ande's descriptions are so vivid...Heaven mesmerizing, so beautiful, the details.
I didn't want it to end...
Had me in tears.
